Here are some of the top paddling communities here in Missouri.
The first group primarily is focused on whitewater kayaking and training with an assortment of crazy endurance paddlers.
The second group is focused primarily on flat water or open water kayaking also with an assortment of endurance paddlers.
The third organization is sponsored by the Rivermiles project and hosts the World's longest non-stop river race from Kansas City to St. Charles on the Missouri River.
The fourth and final group is that of the "parent" canoeing, kayaking, and rafting organization that promotes paddlesports, river conservation, paddler resources, instructor certification, and liability insurance.
