An old Irish toast popped into my head as I took a moment in the shade to just be in the moment. I am sure that wandering thru the oldest and botanical garden in the United States probably helped set the stage.
'Tis better to buy a small bouquet and give to your friend this very day, than a bushel of roses white and red to lay on his coffin after he's dead.
Yesterday is gone and in the past and tomorrow has yet to materialize. So we must live in the moment and let those we care about know it now. Carpe Diem as both my HS Latin and AP English teachers loved to say.
